Hi everybody.  I’m excited to share an article just published in the American Journal of Public Health, January 19, 2012.  It clearly states the link between food deprivation (insecurity) and bingeing and obeity.  I’ve corresponded with Dr. Mary Story who knows about Naturally Thin and she was very enthusiastic about this study and its implications.  They haven’t actually linked dieting to food insecurity, but maybe that’s because they aren’t dieters.  Anyway, this is important because scientists are inching their way to understanding how dieters get and stay fat by trying to eat less (food insecurity.)  Sorry I don’t have the link, in fact I can’t find it yet.  i got a hard copy.  If any of you discover it, let us know.  We’re getting closer!

I found the article, but you have to pay $15 to view it.  If a media outlet picks it up, we’ll be able to view it, but not yet.
