Beth,

FlyLady would say “take a lick at a snake,” and that “housework done imperfectly still blesses your family.” Set your timer and do two minutes if 15 is too much. I’ve been using her fun and easy system nearly 10 years.

Sometimes I get “mad” because I’m in the middle of something and I have to stop and eat. I eat at LEAST three times before most people even have lunch, then two or three times in the afternoon, then a small dinner. Other than that, I am much more productive in everything I do because I’m not constantly obsessing about what I CAN or CAN’T eat and when is my next meal.

Our baby grandson eats “real” food now and when he’s full he’s full and he doesn’t want more banana just because he likes it! When he eats, he holds his little arms up like goal posts, it’s very cute.
